KFBIO Attends the First Annual Congress of Asia Society of Digital Pathology

By Published On: 10/15/2024

From October 2 to October 4, 2024, KFBIO participated in the first Annual Congress of the Asian Society of Digital Pathology, held in Seoul, South Korea. This event was a major gathering in Asia’s digital pathology field, attracting pathology experts, researchers, medical professionals, and digital pathology equipment manufacturers from across the region. Through face-to-face communication with pathology experts and peers from Asia and around the world, KFBIO not only showcased its latest technological achievements but also laid a solid foundation for further expanding into the Asian market and establishing strong partnerships.

During the event, KFBIO’s overseas team, led by Chairman Liu Bingxian, Vice President Kevin Gui, introduced attendees to the company’s digital pathology solutions and the fluorescence scanner. KFBIO’s KF-FL-005 fluorescence scanner supports up to eight channels and offers options for single-layer scanning, multi-layer scanning, and fusion. Additionally, the KF-FL-005 excels in image quality, scanning speed, and integration of brightfield and fluorescence modes, which attracted significant interest from many pathologists.

In addition to demonstrating the fluorescence scanner, Vice President Kevin Gui also presented KFBIO’s independently developed LBC Cervical Cancer AI for cervical cancer screening during the seminar. Traditional cervical cancer screening typically relies on experienced pathologists manually reviewing slides, which can be time-consuming and subjective. KFBIO’s AI solution, however, assists pathologists in diagnostics through artificial intelligence algorithms, improving the accuracy and efficiency of screening while reducing the workload of doctors and enhancing overall healthcare services. In the future, KFBIO will continue to invest in AI software development to support the intelligent upgrading of pathology diagnostics.

Through its participation in the Annual Congress of ASDP, KFBIO not only successfully showcased its cutting-edge technology in pathology but also expanded its brand influence through in-depth exchanges with peers in the Asian region. KFBIO will continue to adhere to its philosophy of “rooted in pathology, focusing on pathology, cultivating pathology, and serving pathology,” consistently innovating to provide smarter and more efficient solutions for the global pathology industry, contributing to the digital transformation of pathology diagnostics and the enhancement of healthcare services worldwide.
