KFBIO Showcases at the 66th Mexican Pathology Congress
Opening at the Congress
In May 2025, KFBIO, the pioneer in digital pathology solutions, made a grand appearance at the 66th Annual Congress of the Colegio y Asociación Mexicana de Patólogos A.C. (LXVI – 2025), represented by its exclusive local distributor.
Sharing Remote-Diagnosis & Teaching Experience by Dr. Mario Murguía Pérez
During the congress, KFBIO was honoured to welcome one of our Mexican user—Dr. Mario Murguía Pérez, Chief Professor at Médica Campestre Hospital, head of the DIME laboratory, and the anatomical pathology expert at IMSS (Mexico’s public social security hospital).
Dr. Murguía Pérez has implemented KFBIO digital pathology scanners in his DIME laboratory, delivering remote diagnostic services to hospitals across four Mexican states. He brought a group of pathology instructors to the booth to demonstrate real-time remote consultations and teaching workflows using the scanners.

In-Depth Discussions with Public & Private Hospitals
Throughout the event, the KFBIO team engaged in extensive discussions with experts from various public and private hospitals in Mexico about current digital pathology applications, challenges, and solutions. After the congress, two hospitals invited KFBIO’s Americas Regional Director, Chico Lai, for on-site visits to conduct solution assessments and further negotiations.

Discussions with hospital delegates

One of our KFBIO team’s favourite moments in this job: visiting the lab, hearing what new and longtime users need. Honest talks, real passion.
Huawei OpenLab KFBIO Digital Pathology Workshops
At Huawei OpenLab in Mexico, KFBIO hosted two specialised workshops on digital pathology, focusing on the “Three-Step Path to Fully Digital Pathology”—digital slide acquisition for remote diagnosis, Fully Digital Pathology Lab Implementation, and AI-assisted analysis. We thank all participating pathologists and professionals for their active engagement and insightful questions as we explored the efficiency and value digital pathology brings to hospitals.

KFBIO remains committed to advancing global digital pathology and looks forward to partnering with more collaborators across Latin America to expand the future of remote diagnostics and smart healthcare.
