Deep Integration of DeepSeek | A New Engine for Digital Pathology in KFBIO

Intelligent Diagnostic Solutions| AI-Driven Precision Pathology

In KFBIO’s full-process intelligent pathology information management system, Deepseek can be called up at any time for man-machine dialogue and support.

In the face of complex case characteristics, such as rare disease manifestations and drug reactions, it can automatically analyze and mine potential diagnostic associations, providing reference ideas for diagnosing and treating difficult cases.

In addition, the system supports comparative analysis of similar cases. It assists doctors’ inefficient decision-making in diagnostic thinking, guidance on material collection, immunohistochemistry, TNM staging judgment tips, etc., so that the whole process of pathology diagnosis and treatment from material collection to diagnosis, is smarter and more accurate.

2. Innovations in Pathology Teaching | AI-Enabled Medical Education

Based on the multimodal analysis capability of the Deepseek large model, it further strengthens KFBIO’s intelligent system covering pathology image recognition and diagnosis. The system is capable of completing the intelligent analysis of a single slide at high speed, automatically locating the tumour area and marking suspicious lesions, significantly shortening the diagnostic cycle.

Meanwhile, by integrating pathological images, genetic testing, and clinical data, the system generates comprehensive diagnostic reports, automatically marks lesions, assists doctors in comprehensively evaluating the patient’s condition, and explores potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets.

3. Scanning Process Innovation | AI-Enabled Slide Scanning

Upon completion of the scan, we introduced the Intelligent Slide QC System, which is capable of analyzing each slide in minute detail to ensure that every aspect of the preparation process is of the highest standard. This includes not only a precise reading of the physical quality of the slide but also real-time monitoring and adjustment of any deviations that may occur during the scanning process. Through this advanced quality control, we are able to ensure that each slide is presented in the best possible condition, providing clear, accurate images for pathology diagnosis. This process is critical to the efficient operation of a fully digital pathology department, which not only improves efficiency and reduces human error but also provides strong technical support to the pathologists.
