Collaboration · Innovation · Win-Win | KFBIO Successfully Hosts the 2nd Overseas Distributors Conference
Recently, KFBIO successfully held its Second Overseas Distributors Conference. Pathology experts, industry scholars, partners, and global distributors from more than 20 countries gathered for a two-day in-depth exchange, focusing on key topics including digital pathology, artificial intelligence, integrated smart pathology construction, and global market practices.
The conference covered a wide range of content—from clinical applications and frontier research to product launches, regional solutions, and international market experience sharing—comprehensively showcasing KFBIO’s latest achievements in building a full digital pathology value chain and advancing its global strategy.

Integrating Clinical Practice and Technology to Strengthen the Foundation of Smart Pathology
The first day of the conference opened with a strong focus on clinical pathology and technological innovation.
In the opening remarks, KFBIO’s General Manager Liu Bingxian and VP Kevin warmly welcomed global partners and emphasized the core role of digital pathology in driving high-quality development in pathology.

This was followed by a series of high-profile academic and technical presentations:
- Precision Neuropathology explored the deep integration of morphology and molecular diagnostics in diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease from a neuropathology perspective.
- Advances in Immunofluorescence Applications in Cytopathology shared real-world clinical screening experiences using immunofluorescence technologies.
- VP Wang Kivi presented a comprehensive overview of new product launches and R&D planning, introducing the PRX series, recent advances in fluorescence imaging, and future development directions.

On the product and solution front, the conference showcased a full portfolio including remote consultation systems, slide delivery robots, desktop storage solutions, comprehensive pathology AI solutions, as well as core pathology equipment such as slide labelers and microtomes—presenting a complete closed loop from sample processing to digital diagnosis.

Strengthening the Product Portfolio to Build Integrated Solution Capabilities
The afternoon sessions focused on pathology equipment and system integration capabilities.
Batch barcode scanning systems, liquid-based cytology preparation devices and reagents, tape-based coverslippers, and tissue processors were successively introduced. Systematic presentations of the Digital Slide Management System (DSMS) and the HALO image analysis platform highlighted the core strengths of digital pathology in data management and analytics. In addition, the integrated regional pathology center solutions shared practical pathways for building regionalized and centralized pathology services.
An online presentation by the current President of the Asian Digital Pathology Association, Prof. Junya, introduced the development status of the association, offering new perspectives on regional collaboration and international exchange.

A Global Perspective on the Frontiers of Digital Pathology
The second day focused on cutting-edge technologies and international market practices.
In the thematic sessions, experts discussed:
- End-to-end pathology workflow information systems
- Pathology foundation models in precision oncology
- “Four-in-One” smart pathology department construction
These discussions explored how digitalization and intelligence can be truly embedded into the daily operations of pathology departments.
The international guest sessions were equally insightful:
- Dr. Kadhem Alkhenaizi (Bahrain) presented a Digital Pathology Survey in the GCC Region, highlighting real-world challenges and emerging opportunities in Gulf countries.
- Dr. Andrés Mosquera (Colombia) shared insights on the current status of digital pathology in Latin America and Europe, comparing policy environments, clinical needs, and implementation models across the regions.
The current President of the European Digital Pathology Association, Dr.Norman, also delivered an online lecture on the state of digital pathology development in Europe.

Deepening Cooperation to Build a Global Digital Pathology Ecosystem
A dedicated roundtable discussion enabled in-depth dialogue on digital pathology products, market expansion, implementation experience, and future trends. KFBIO’s management team and overseas marketing team engaged face-to-face with global distributor representatives to jointly explore cooperation models and long-term development strategies.

In the subsequent Outstanding Distributor Awards and experience-sharing session, distributors from Greece, France, Kazakhstan, Egypt, and other countries shared their successful market practices, further strengthening confidence and cohesion among global partners.

Moving Forward Together to Create the Next Chapter of Digital Pathology
Through this conference, KFBIO systematically demonstrated its comprehensive strengths in digital pathology equipment, information systems, AI applications, and integrated solutions, while further solidifying strategic partnerships with global distributors.
Looking ahead, KFBIO will continue to work closely with its global partners to accelerate the adoption of digital pathology in clinical practice, research, and regional applications—jointly building an open, collaborative, and sustainable global digital pathology ecosystem.
