Joining Asia’s First Digital Pathology Congress

From October 2 to 4, 2024, KFBIO participated in the First Annual Congress of the Asia Society of Digital Pathology (ASDP) in Seoul, South Korea.

The congress brought together pathology experts, researchers, healthcare professionals, and digital pathology companies from across Asia. It provided an important platform for knowledge sharing and industry collaboration.

During the event, KFBIO met with pathology experts and industry partners from Asia and other regions. The team introduced its latest digital pathology technologies and explored new opportunities for future cooperation.

As a result, KFBIO further strengthened its presence in the Asian market and built stronger relationships with regional partners.

Introducing Advanced Digital Pathology Solutions

KFBIO’s overseas team, led by Chairman Liu Bingxian and Vice President Kevin Gui, presented the company’s latest digital pathology solutions.

One of the highlights was the KF-FL-005 Fluorescence Scanner.

The scanner supports up to eight fluorescence channels. It also offers single-layer scanning, multi-layer scanning, and image fusion.

In addition, the scanner delivers excellent image quality and high scanning speed. It combines brightfield and fluorescence imaging in one platform.

Because of these advantages, many pathologists showed strong interest in the system during the exhibition.

Demonstrating AI for Cervical Cancer Screening

Besides the fluorescence scanner, Vice President Kevin Gui introduced KFBIO’s LBC Cervical Cancer AI Solution during the seminar.

Traditional cervical cancer screening depends on experienced pathologists reviewing slides manually. This process can be time-consuming and may produce different results between reviewers.

However, KFBIO’s AI solution helps pathologists identify abnormal cells more efficiently. It improves screening accuracy, reduces routine workload, and supports better clinical decision-making.

Furthermore, the solution helps laboratories improve efficiency while providing faster support for patients.

KFBIO will continue investing in AI software development to promote smarter pathology diagnostics.

Building Stronger Partnerships Across Asia

The ASDP Annual Congress gave KFBIO an excellent opportunity to connect with pathology professionals from across Asia.

Throughout the event, the team exchanged ideas with experts, researchers, and industry partners. These discussions focused on digital pathology, AI applications, and future laboratory development.

In addition, KFBIO gained valuable insights into the needs of the Asian market. The conversations also helped strengthen relationships with existing partners and opened the door to new collaborations.

More importantly, the event reinforced KFBIO’s commitment to supporting the growth of digital pathology across the region.

Driving the Future of Digital Pathology

Digital pathology is transforming laboratory workflows around the world. At the same time, artificial intelligence is becoming an important tool for pathology diagnosis.

KFBIO remains focused on innovation. The company continues to develop smarter digital pathology solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and laboratory productivity.

Furthermore, KFBIO invests in advanced AI technologies and integrated workflow solutions. These innovations help pathologists make faster decisions and support better patient care.

The company will also continue working with hospitals, universities, and research institutions to promote digital pathology adoption across Asia and beyond.

Looking Ahead

The First ASDP Annual Congress marked another important milestone for KFBIO’s international development.

Looking ahead, KFBIO will continue expanding its global network and strengthening cooperation with pathology professionals worldwide.

Meanwhile, the company will further improve its digital pathology products and AI technologies to meet the changing needs of laboratories.

Ultimately, KFBIO aims to provide smarter, more efficient solutions that support the digital transformation of pathology and improve healthcare services around the world.
