KFBIO & Huawei Digital Pathology Partnership | AI & Storage Solutions
On June 20, 2022, KFBIO and Huawei successfully held the Digital Pathology Cooperation and Exchange Meeting at KONFOONG BIOTECH INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD (KFBIO). The meeting was attended by Liu Bingxian, Chairman and General Manager of KFBIO, and Zhou Yuefeng, Vice President of Huawei and President of the Data Storage Product Line. This event marks a significant step in strengthening the partnership between KFBIO and Huawei in digital pathology.
Prior to the meeting, Gui Kun, Deputy General Manager of KFBIO, guided Huawei’s leaders through the KFBIO Digital Pathology Exhibition Hall. He presented KFBIO’s development history, core business segments, and scientific research and innovation capabilities, highlighting the company’s expertise in pathology solutions.

During the meeting, Bai Shuqing, Medical Director of Huawei’s Data Storage Product Line, introduced Huawei’s advanced data storage solutions and their practical applications in the medical industry. Following this, Gui Kun elaborated on KFBIO’s integrated digital pathology solutions, which include digital pathology slide scanners, pathology AI, pathology information systems, remote consultation platforms, and third-party pathology labs.
The meeting concluded with a cooperation agreement between KFBIO and Huawei. As part of this collaboration, Huawei’s digital storage products will support the advancement of digital pathology and pathology AI development. KFBIO has been designated as Huawei’s preferred partner in digital pathology. With Huawei’s data storage solutions, KFBIO aims to enhance its digital pathology offerings and extend their benefits to a global audience.

This partnership signifies a new phase in KFBIO-Huawei collaboration, with reinforced efforts in technology R&D, marketing, and talent training. Together, KFBIO and Huawei will explore new possibilities in digital pathology and strive to set a benchmark for digital pathology department construction in China.
